The Tangled Revel
The Authority calls it "Bacterial Spread." They see the dark, branching patterns of Marbling in a dying timeline and they reach for the bleach. They want a clean, white history. They want the "Bone." We want the Map.
Marbling is what happens when the "Bacteria of Truth" begins to travel through the "Veins of the Narrative." When a timeline dies, the blood doesn't stop moving — it just stops obeying the heart. It spreads. It follows the path of least resistance.
It creates a map of every Choice, every Regret, and every Sin ever committed in that Era. This is what the Authority wants to bleach away. They are bleaching the evidence.
Look at the skin of a decaying Era. See the greens, the purples, the deep, bruised blues. That isn't "rot" — that's History made Visible.
The Marbled Era is the highest form of art. It is the moment where the timeline is no longer being "managed." It is free to show its true, bruised, beautiful self.

The Authority will send the Dermestid Cleaners for the Marbled Era. They always do. Observe it before they arrive. They are afraid of what the veins reveal. They are right to be afraid.
